Abstract In this paper, the phase structure of Hayward-AdS black hole (BH) is studied using shadow formalism. It has been found that radius a monotonic function horizon and can therefore play an equivalent role to in characterizing thermodynamics BH. The thermodynamic transition (PT) BH investigated with radius. shown as magnetic charge increases, becomes larger, while coexistence temperature lower. thermal profile established by combining diagram cast diagram, which shows for fixed charge, increases pressure region decreases pressure. particular, follows N-type change trend when it smaller than critical temperature. implies may be used investigate
